Humor in Business
Communicate with irony and intelligence
The Humor in Business project and format was born in 2012, thanks to a collaboration with the Center for Strategic Therapy in Milan and the Molinette Hospital-University of Turin.
They had been asked to propose a new form of communication that on the one hand would take some of the load off the staff, and on the other hand would allow a lighter way to dialogue with patients/relatives .
So, we went to study the roots of humor/comedy, and created what would later also become a book “Ribàltàti e contenti” in which the 7-step method for handling humorous communication is described , and the CRG (Calibration, Recalculation, Guidance) method for working on two-way communication.
For years, this format has been offered to companies, with the aim of covering areas such as
Negotiation
Public speaking
Effective communication
Conflict management
Language of agreement
Our clients include.
Microsoft, Generali Insurance, Circana, UniCredit, Stellantis, Chiesi Spa
THE STRUCTURE OF TRAINING
What we propose is an elastic structure, which adapts to the needs of the company and in terms of timing is structured on the availability of the company itself.
Training events can be held either onsite, off-site, or online (of course, calibrating the timing).
Basically, training involves individual, pair, and group work.

The basic structure consists of a two-day module covering the following topics:
First Day
- Lateral Thinking. Conflict between true reality and comic reality
- Banana Theorem. Abolition of self-criticism
- Deformation. To fill, one must first empty
- Trailer of life and performance
- Construction of comic speaking at the corporate level. In groups of 4, work on a really successful event and try to come up with changes in speech that could have improved it. On a theoretical level, 7-step theory with examples and providing the tools to create humor
Second Day
- The elements of communication
- The hero’s journey. How to tell a story at the corporate level (whether it’s a presentation, interview or otherwise) using humor
- Working on the language of agreement in pairs
- Using humor in public speaking
- The power of storytelling
- Closing the training
OTHER TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES
Shorter time frames (e.g., 3 hours)
The content that best fits the need can be extrapolated.
Each element of the two-day training is a module that, with the addition of exercises, can cover a specific business need.
Team Building
We organize on-site and off-site events to facilitate the cohesion of newly formed teams, or in teams that have manifested relationship problems.
They are based on the construction of theatrical events, so where collective work is not taken for granted but is fundamental to the achievement of the goal.
Laughter yoga
“Today we need laughter more than ever. To live a full existence despite illness or to face this delicate moment in history with greater resilience and happiness.”
This is what the many people who regularly practice Laughter Yoga, a discipline in which people do not laugh because of an external comic stimulus but by choice, are experiencing, with countless psycho-physical benefits. And that is what we offer to companies. Workshops in which you simply … laugh! But with awareness.
Event design
We do not (by choice) propose a standard format, but adapt it to the needs and requirements of each company.
So the very first step is an interview in which we try to understand what is actually needed, and then a subsequent meeting to deepen and revise the proposal.
If a need arises in a company to work on conflict management, this will become the main point to work on, always keeping humor and the methods we use as a basis.
