Having planned to organize a team-building event for our Legal Department, consisting of 25 people, we thought we would move toward a different form of communication, namely the unconventional use of humor.

Clearly, the Comedian’s Academy approach made the experience not only fun but also meaningful for all participants.

It started with personal work and then moved on to pair and group work, beginning to train one of the most important faculties, listening. The two days ended with the construction of two “humorous” company stories.

Humorous company storytelling is a brilliant way to foster mutual understanding and overcome barriers that can arise in work interactions. It is good to know that all participants had the opportunity to express themselves in a new and humorous way, and that this will contribute to more effective collaboration in the future.

Working with Claudio and Daniela, who coordinated the event with passion and enthusiasm, certainly added value to the overall experience.

Now that each participant has a written piece that represents a new way of describing themselves, everyone has a valuable tool to continue to cultivate humor and mutual understanding in your work environment.

Within the corporate project related to the promotion of DEI (Diversity Equity and Inclusion) in Circana, we were looking for a reality that could help us in dealing with sometimes difficult or little considered topics in a creative, funny and lighter way: we really wanted to find a new means to raise awareness among colleagues on these issues that are very close to our hearts.

So we got to know the team of Accademia del Comico who, with great professionalism, extreme delicacy and a lot of patience, guided and supported us, in choosing the comic interventions we had planned during a corporate event.

In front of an audience of a hundred people (both in attendance and online), five of their alumni politely made us smile about body shaming, inclusion, working moms, LGBTQ+.

This was coordinated by Claudio and Sonja with whom we collaborated with extreme pleasure over the course of intense weeks.

The pieces brought to the stage, were much appreciated, as was the morning we spent with all of them.

I asked Claudio Zucca to package and conduct a course for my seventy employees (working in a very highly specialized Customer Care) to further improve their communication awareness through the acquisition of the basic elements of Stand-Up.

The initiative, conducted entirely online, achieved maximum results in terms of both adherence and participation, and paved the way for further evolution of the company’s communication approach in its entirety.

The Comedian’s Academy was able, moreover, to combine undoubted technical expertise with an empathetic and immersive approach, crucial in relation to the remote delivery conditions of the course itself.

An initiative that I would recommend to management that is particularly attentive and sensitive to issues of evolutionary sustainability of its resources, as in our case.
